The family and my brother wanted to try something new, and at the same time; near our place. Every mom knows the struggle of commuting with a toddler. Yes, the struggle is real! We decided to walk, I was reminded of this new resto about 500 meters from our place. I've read it from an ad at facebook that it was their soft opening.
It was a humble restaurant, owned by newlyweds Marinel and Paul. As we entered the place - the crews are wearing all smiles! They welcomed us warmly. You can easily notice the instagrammable vibe of the resto. It was small yet eye-catching. Perfect for catching up or just chit-chat with your gals.
They offered us our seats and gave out their adorable Chopping Board menus. We've ordered Tapsilog, Porkchopsilog and Korean Soy Chicken Wings. A side dish of laing and iced milo. They also have super yummy Leche Flan! The best for me! While waiting for the meal to be served about 5-10 minutes; we started to play board games. Jenga! Service was indeed fast.
Liam enjoyed the sweet savory korean wings and fries. The tapa is well marinated, perfectly complimenting with their Suka in a bottle. (More rice please!) The porkchop is very tender. Leche flan is a must try. Overall, the experience was great for a newly opened Restaurant. Must try for people who like Tatak Pinoy! Dishes. Support humble businesses, support local!
